| Q) I haven't painted since I was seven, do I need to have more experience to
participate? |
A) Definitely not. Remember this is about expressing yourself and not about
what you produce. Art is simply a tool to assist you. |
| Q) What must I bring? |
A) Just some lunch. Materials and
tea/coffee/cake is provided. |
| Q) I am an established
artist, could this workshop assist me? |
A) Yes definitely. Even people who
paint for a living get stuck along the way, through this process you will have the
opportunity to expand on your potential. |
| Q) Are the workshops
always on Saturdays? |
A) Most often due to the number of
people who work or who have commitments with school children. |
| Q) What medium do you
paint in? |
A) Various mediums, but acrylic
predominately. |
| Q) Can I bring my own
paints? |
A) No. The workshop provides you
with all that you will need. Even using your own paints may make it more difficult to
break away from the way you normally do things. |
| Q) Can I bring my eight
year old daughter as well? |
A) No the workshop is for adults.
If requested I can run children's workshops provided I have enough participants. |
| Q) Do you run one-on-one
workshops? I feel intimidated working in a group. |
A) Working within the group is
part of the process. I will however, after the workshop on request, work individually with
someone, provided the time is available. |
| Q) Do you cater for men
and women? |
A) Yes definitely, although I must
say to date women are in the majority. |
| Q) Do you run weekly art
classes? |
A) I run a six week course for
beginners. |
