Reviewed by Natalia Baker for Odyssey magazine

Ann Gadd has brilliantly explored the mind/body relationship between our feet and our innermost selves in this book. The content re-discovers what has been ignored over centuries, yet was known in ancient cultures and by the wise. Gadd's aim is to enable us to become more conscious of ourselves and others, empower ourselves to be responsible for our own healing and release and make changes where appropriate. The first section of the shows how our feet reflect our souls based on the fibonnaci Scale, the seven chakras on the feet, developing a relationship with our feet, general observations on the foot and toe shapes. The second section comprises a comprehensive A-Z of aspects of the feet, including amputated toes, sprains, fungus problems, bunions and much more. Each entry is meticulously explored. The section on shoes includes insights into why we wear certain types of shoes and the meaning of their colours. Gadd concisely supports her research and findings with interesting case studies. A most enjoyable, informative book for anyone wanting more self-knowledge and personal growth.
